Orderly business and other things

This month has been a VERY VERY VERY hectic month for me. Not only was I involved in an ops for Sea Games; I am also an orderly for both SAF and NDP parade this year. Orderly for both SAF and NDP parade means that my Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are reserved for training only and they take up the entire day. It is a fulfilling experience although sometimes I just want a break from everything.

I hate how I am not able to see those people who I want to see because I am never in camp. The camp now is like a hotel, I only come back at night to sleep. Even when I am not required for orderly business, I still have to do the essential things like IPPT and CS. When can I rest? Hopefully when everything dies down, when the Orderly business gets done, I can sleep peacefully in camp. Also, no one will come and arrow me as always just because I am free and I am the first person that come to their mind.

Recently the news of America approving same sex marriage is all over Facebook. There are many posts stating their own personal/religious views. People started changing their display pictures to support the cause.

I read about this book written by a girl who was raised by 2 mothers. She said that she lacked a Father growing up and she filled that hole when she accepted Christ later in her years when she grew up. She was suffering in silence and blah blah blah.

Then there are articles written by Christians about model of a family. Where a family and marriage should be between a male and a female. It's Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve. Therefore they do not approve the law and they don't believe that it will succeed.

You know there are times when you have nothing good to say, you just don't say anything? Like I get that that is your view and you are entitled to it but you don't just go around shoving your views into people faces. It is rude. I don't understand how they can also go around, "I love you but not your sin" but they don't go and get to know the person first. Do you really love the person?

Even if it is legal now, it doesn't change anything. You did not support it and you certainly are not supporting it now. So why kick up such a big fuss?

If you truly love a person, you can only be there to guide them to the "right" decision and not man-handle them to what you think is right for them. They are also entitled to their own choices in life you know. At least let them have the freedom to choose. That is love.

  I am having a headache.
