Yippee! We are off with a great start with me as the game master for our very first LG! Actually game master doesnt sound very appropriate( we are mature men so we prefer to call it activity) but it was still a game after all! What we played, we play namecalling( some random crap that I thought of in 5mins but it was a huge success!) and King's Cup. Both of this games are linked and it created so much joy and laughter within the group. This is the few times when I laughed so hard that my jaw and stomach actually starts to ache. I miss laughing like this! We should definitely do this a lot more often!
The best part about this game is that I added an extra element- the jokers- and I brought along fried worms from Thailand as part of the forfeit and game. It is a very unusual forfeit and I love the very idea! Sadly, everyone(almost) enjoyed the snack. They even ask for seconds! Me? I just had one when I drew the joker and it tasted salty and wormy. It is one food that I wouldnt eat if I have the choice, but I wouldnt mind eating if I am really hungry and the worm is in front of me.
There are a few instances when there are climaxes to the game. It all started with nicknames such as Ni Ma Ma( Your Mother), Xiao Gou( Dog), Wan Ba( bastard?), Bu Hao Xiao( Not funny)! It gets even funnier when we had a rule and we can only speak in Hokkien! We sounded so uncivilised and stupid during that period of time! Of course, most of the times we were speaking chinese only and it is FREAKING hilarious!
All in all, everything ends well and I look forward to have more fun with the LG in the near future. Onwards people!
